Some families know a great deal about their roots; others know very little. This site is an attempt to record what I’ve learned about our family history. In these modern times, families tend to be scattered all over the country, if not the world. One of the goals of this web site is to help families stay connected (or even in some cases get connected) even though we live far apart.
I have been doing research, of some sort, since 1995 after ending up on bed rest during my second pregnancy. I was going stir crazy and this seemed like a good use of my time. The major surnames I am researching are: Allen, Barker, Clough, Coleman, Cornelison, Dillenback (Dillenbeck), Edmunds, Gleaves, Reynolds and Wendler.
NOT all of my data has been verified. I am still working on that. This is a work in progress, so please contact me if you have any information that might help round out the picture.
Acknowledgements
Over the years, I have banged my head up against more walls then I care to count. I want to thank my Aunt Shirley for doing most of the hard work on the Coleman/Cornelison side and for getting me interested in genealogy in the first place. I also want to thank David and Carol for making the trips to the cemetery as well as sharing all that they had withe me. Thank you to everyone who has shared information with me, corrected my information, supported me while I banged my head, pointed me a new direction and etc. This would not have been made possible without you all!
